Hi, Now a days cell phones become necessity to all people. We can contact people on far away from us. We can contact our son daily. he is living away from us. We miss him very much. Mobile can serve us entertaining device but I have simple cell phone only useful for making and receiving calls and sending messages and nothing else. But my son has latest model of cell phone. It has many facilities.

I agree with you roshi now mobile is necessity of life but not for hearing songs, capturing the photo but for contact with family members or friends. If we are living far from our home then for saying how are us mobile is important. Parents can contact with their child if they are in other city.

I think that the biggest difference between the time when I didn't have a cellphone and today is the flexibility. Before I had a cellphone I had to stay in my home if I was waiting for an important phonecall. Today I carry my cellphone in my bag and it doesn't matter where I am when my phone rings. I think that text messages have made things easier as well. If I call someone they have to answer the phone or call me back later. If I send them a text message they can read it when they have time and write me back later. Sometimes it is easier to call, but in many situations it is nice that you can send a text message instead, and I think that it is great that both options exist today.

For me cellphones are helpful if I need help like if my car breaks down. But mostly I do not care for them. I do not like texting at all and do not allow anyone to text me. I do not care for using it on the internet. It is just a tool for emergencies. I feel there is too much use with cellphone and internet access and it is causing problems with kids not doing as well in school. People driving get in more accidents and even walking can get in accidents and get killed. People need to use cellphones as a tool not as a toy and yes it does change our lives but not always for the better nor easier. Also people do not get out and do things like they used to or connect one on one as they should. Some get addicted and forget to eat and do not get enough sleep. So it can be a good thing but it needs balance, wisdom and self control and children really do not NEED a cellphone. Teens often mis-use cellphones and are not responsible. They should be a privilage not a right.

I've been using cell phone since I was 18 years old & now that I'm 41, it's been 23 years... I guess I don't really know a life without a cell phone so I can't say it has changed my life, other than normal growing up... Cell phone has never been that big of a deal to me... I haven't used a house phone for over 20 years so I guess if I start using a house phone, that would be more of life changing experience...

Cellphone really do change my life. I wasn't really into texting and calling some years ago and I even didn't find it necessary. But because it was a hit within my school, I tried to ask my parents of buying me one. Fortunately, there were really some changes on me. I was more conscious about what's happening around my friends. I even became addicted to quotes and it really tightened my communication with friends. Thanks for the one who invented this. :)

Mobile phones makes our life easier and faster. Comparing with the different things we use to do in our earlier years, cell phones differently change the way we live today. For instance, we use to connect through our loved ones through the telephone or through snail mails. Twenty years ago, the term "snail mails" were not even invented. But because of cell phones, we can connect to them instantly. Though telephone are still in use, many house hold prefer to use the cell phones these days.

Cellphone made communication easier. It connects people faster especially if there's an emergency. Though it is an advantage, some people use it to scam other people. Also, there are crime related case to using cellphone. In here, young girls were raped and molested by the people they only know via texting being called as textmates. But generally if you it wisely it will make our life easier and better.

Cellphones? Can be everything now, you can text, call, chat, video call, watch your favorite youtube, face book, tweeter, and many more. In our modern life living without cellphone could be pretty inconvenient because now we tried to relay every business we have via mobile phones. I remember like 10 years ago maybe when the cellphone are still rare and with big models , i was wishing to have one in the future because i was envy with the people i can see using them its really unique and also fashionable. Now a days we also use cellphones to add on our fashion style, if you have a nice model of phone, then you are in!

Cellphones is one such thing I have seen growing enormously by reaching in every hand. It happened all in front of me. I had seen times when we used to have landline connections and there were no hints of gadgets like cellphones and now the time has come when I hardly see any home still with landline connections. To its credit, cellphones are now available with exclusive and necessary feature. It is actually becoming a combo of necessity and luxury.

I feel I need my cell phone, mainly for safety reasons. One of my biggest fears is that I will be stuck in a situation, like a fire or break in, and i wont be able to call for help. Or if im driving on a long trip by myself, and my car, which is unreliable, breaks down in the middle of nowhere. in some situations, like if I'm going out to a party, and i have to make the choice between leaving my phone or taking it and risking it being broken, lost or stolen, i always take my phone.

You're right. Right now, I'm using my phone mylotting. I'm so happy that I can use my phone posting discussions, comments and responses. I don't know if it's going to be counted. I'll observe my earnings later until tomorrow. I'll try to observe it if my comments and responses are also paid. I hope so. LOL. Happy mylotting.

Cell phones are very usefull, that's right, as you can be contact at any time and almost anywhere. When you need an important answer or information, you don't need to rest anymore near to a normal phone like for example at home. In the meantime of waiting for the information you need, you can use the time to realize others. Apart from that, it also has been used to save lifes, like in accidents to localize the persons. So ambulance and other could come at time to save the persons involved in that accident.

Hi, Cellphone did changed my life a while back. Before I used it, I have to go a long way to contact or be contacted. It seems like a giant leap to have a gadget that can be used anywhere, even when I am in the middle of nowhere. In fact, I got married due to my cellphone, a textmate who later turned out to be my sweetheart and wife now, all because of a cellphone.

Hi, Yes I agree with you. They have direct impact on the life as they minimize our effort in some aspects. I use my phone for Calling, interenet, GPS, Music etc., When there is no much usage of mobile phones in olden days every need I mentioned has a special device. But today they are embedded in a single mobile phone.:)

Rather than using pay phones, cell phones are more convenient. I am not sure how I would be able to get through the day without one. I often make and receive calls from my friends, family, and sometimes my employer. While I believe it's a great way to communicate with others, it has helped in other ways. For instance, sometimes I use applications like GPS and Internet to help me look up information, Despite having all the various uses for cell phones, I try to keep my use mostly for communication. My phone does not an unlimited data plan, which means I need to use it sparingly. I am very grateful for cell phones; it has been a great addition to my life.
