Some of the youtubes are stopped during the middle.

I wonder if some of you have the same trouble, that some of the youtubes I watch are being stopped and I have to either restart them or move the red line to get them to move. Now these are mainly warnings about what might happen and I really do not want to go to evil youtubes such as perversion sites to see if these work. I was wondering whether this has happened to anyone else asnd what youtubes they had problems with.

It happened to me a lot of times already. But I think it has something to do with your internet connection. See, the video is buffing and when it stops buffing the white line will reach the end. And at the middle of your watching it will suddenly stop. Just try to check your connection. It must be consistent. Well, just my experience. :)

It is only with certain videos. If it were some other, it would happen with all of them.

This is normal. This will happen to everyone at some time or other. It can be because of the internet line is having a problem at that moment, the computer needing more buffer space - when watching a lot of videos in a row, or that youtube is very busy and it has trouble being able to maintain the stream of the video to so many viewers. The best is to do what you did, refresh and hope the stream works well the second time round, it is also possible to clean out the history or wait until there is less movement on youtube and hopefully watch then easily.

That would be if I watch the Youtube while it is streaming, but I often watch it in the morning because they record it at night . And of course, I did the pause it and open another Youtube from a different subscription. The latter one worked all right. Besides Youtube would ;be big enough to do other videos So think they are being very selective and the history has nothing to do with it. If it were, it would effect every youtubes I watch.

It is only one Youtube subscription that I subscribed to . I have not checked the others and nothing to do with my cache or my internet connection unless my internet provider is doing it, but it will stop, and then it will pretend to buffer, then the end Youtube will show with all the small pictures, but the red line will not be at the end. So I have to go to the bottom and move the red line a bit. The thing is that this is hours after that particular Youtube came on, su I think Youtube is stopping it deliberately so I and others like me cannot watch it.

I think Youtube is trying to shut the guy down. It does not happen with all my subscriptions, just that one. I think it has happened to more then me. But they seem to think that they are the only ones and do not let anyone else know.

Sometimes my YouTube does that too, it's really annoying, but most of the time the video still plays.

I have to press the red line again and sometimes refresh it. It does not happen to all the subscriptions I have, so think it is targeted.

That happens tome quite a bit, often because they begin to load, and then they end up bufferng in the middle, thus causing them to stop entirely, until they catch up, and keep playing again. Sometimes when I suspect that's going to happen, I pause the video at the beginning, and wait a few minutes. Then I play them, and they play all the way through.

Sounds like deliberate interference. They do not want you to wach it. So I have to restart it, and if it stops at the same place, then I know that youtube is preventing it and have to move the red line and sometimes refresh the page. That few minutes could be that they forgot about it and could not stop it for everyone.

Have you changed your internet service? Because our service is the low grade, so the ONLY videos I can watch are ones similar to youtube because I can stop it and let it load before viewing. Have you tried watching a podcast or a streaming video? If these freeze up, it might be your service..

I tried to watch a podcast and it was stopped in mid-stream. So I figure that they are deliberately targeting this particular broadcaster. I was watching a youtube when a lady called and said that she was in Canada, and the broadcasters would not let anyone who was not politically correct and thought that anti-marriages were wrong and believed in the family, the Bible, etc. were often not allowed to be aired on the radio so the only way she could hear the whole broadcast was on the internet. It is not my service.

Not my pc. I have a Mac. And it is just this particular youtube subscription. Right now it is not happening, but I guess that is because the youtube people censorship are at home, but it happens during the week. And since I work at home, it is in the mornings.

Having trouble loading videos can be a sign that you need to have your pc "cleaned". You can run a scan or two or take it in to be "tuned up" by a pro.

Npt that. It is the Youtube from a particular subscription. I have no trouble with the opera subscription, nor the Christian family subscription or that Reverend with the long white beard nor the Spanish and Italian lessons or the Rosetta Stone videos. I did get rid of some of my cookies and that did not help.

Every video site does this to me but not all the time. It mostly occurs during the weekends and typical after school/work hours. When happens I pause the video, count to 20, push the play button and if I'm lucky things might start to move again. Sometimes however, this solution will only last for a few seconds and then I'll be forced to download the video to my desk top in order to view it without the constant buffering.

I did experienced something similar in the past. Sometimes, all Youtube videos seems to only stream for the first few seconds and stop there. Sometimes the videos does not even load. However, I don't think it has something to do with youtube company all the time, most of the time it may be our flash player or plugin crashed or bugged. This can lead to such problems. If you restart your computer and the problem persist, it may be that youtube is really having some issue or that your flash plugin is in serious problem.

I just got a new flash player update, but I found that if I refresh the youtube, it will continue from when it left up. Now I find that the youtube stops near the end because there is not enough room and then I have to watch it on the Youtube app on my ipad or iphone to see the whole way. I do think they are having some issues.

I do face such problems with Youtube some times. But I am not sure of the reason why it happens. When I have such problem with any videos in Youtube. I generally download that video and watch.

I have a dpwnloader but much of it is commercials. I found that the guy has shortened the videos, so I think that many of they are too long. But I will have to wait until tonight to see if the videos work.

I had these kind of lag spikes when my net connection was really bad.Try lowering the quality of the video or even buying a new net connection if possible. Also if you are connected via wifi try connnecting through the ethernet cable as the singal loses its strengh if the rooter is far away from the PC!

It is jus the youtube so could not be my connection and it is done from their end, and I have a very good connection. When it is bad, the light flashes yellow and when I call the cable company they say , "We are sorry, etc" It ha nothing to do with my equpment and if it were the router, it would effect everything on my computer, would it not?
