Why is there cruelty on animals?

Poor dog. - I was moved when I saw this photo on facebook. The one who did this deserves a punishment.

I have 4 dogs in my house and I love them all. I saw this picture on facebook and it made me feel sad. How on Earth a person could kill this kind of animal? It also moved me when I saw the puppy stays at her mom's side. I think animals should be treated well even if it's not our pet. Is there any punishment for animal cruelty in your country? What will be the best punishment if ever the person will be caught? I felt really sad about this.

It is the matter of culture thing. The worst thing, some countries are dog eater. That's the fact.

I do not have any pet dogs or cats but I feel sad too about people who kills animals. Animals are living things and they have also feelings and life.We should respect and know how they feel when heartless people hurt them.

I totally agree with that. I even knew some people at the news eating poor dogs just for the sake of their satisfaction. I don't know why but I hope there'll be a punishment for that so people won't be killing animals like dogs. They also deserve some respect. Thanks for responding.

hi, i am a pet lover and i don't want to see any scene of animal hurting or hitting by people because they still have emotions and feeling,there are still people who don't have good heart in animals,i think they should be punish to feel what the animal felt when they hit.

In my locality, eating dogs was once a fad especially for heavy drinkers. I think the practice is not existing at our locality today.

You know what , those people who hate animals also hate people. They love no one but themselves. You see this people don't have a heart even to the smallest creature , how much more to the human being , what do you expect ? Yes there must be a punishment for this kind of people. Me ? i can't afford my dogs to have no food even for breakfast. They have have 3 square meals , bath , love and care.

There is cruelty on animals because most people don't give them importance like a human life. I think if someone is cruel to an animal then the punishment should be imprisonment and penalty depending on the degree of cruelty.
