Earthquake

We just felt earthquakes a couple of minutes ago. I guess it happened twice. I thought I was just dizzy and going to faint. I thought it was related to my eye pains yesterday. Whoah. We all got scared here. Happy mylotting everyone.

Just got this from the bbc - I know I'm not allowed to copy content, but this might be useful. tsunami warning, 7.9 magnitude , just off pillipines coast.

Oh, that's scary. I don't want my country to experience tsunami. I hope it won't happen.

A 7.9 magnitude earthquake is nothing to laugh about. I know it because my country has the record of big earthquakes and all of the have happened during my lifetime. Take care.

Tsunami warning was raised just in case, apparently the wave which his was around 15cm high, which is quite a relief for everybody.

We felt that also here angel. I got scared, I was shouting like God, God, please don't. Help us. That was the first time that I experience a long earthquake. And it was quite strong. Thank God it stopped. Did it happened all over the Philippines?

Oh yeah fatlex, we were so scared too. We're still at work when it occured. I hope there will be no more aftershocks.

Aftershocks are scary. Good nobody was hurt. Sorry to reply late. I've posted a lot of discussions and I had trouble getting back to the old ones. Stay safe and always be ready in case of earthquake or other calamities or tragedies.

Hello to you I think we experienced it here too but I didn't really feel it. I was busy doing my work awhile ago and some of my co-workers reacted. Even the daughter of our boss went downstairs screaming and I didn't know now. I only learned about it when I read your discussion and I asked my co-worker here what happened awhile ago. She said there was an earthquake. Oh, I'm a bit scared. I hope it won't happen again soon because I usually travel on the weekends and I'm in a high area. I hope we would all be safe despite of the things happening here in our country. Keep safe Angel Karah. Happy myLotting. :)

Hello to you. I guess you were right there. I didn't really feel it and though I already heard them reacting, I still kept on doing what I was doing and asked about it after some minutes. When I knew about it, I really told them that I didn't know what happened. I didn't really feel it though they told me it was a bit strong. I didn't feel my seat moving. An earthquake of 7.9 magnitude struck off the Visayas part. The quake was centered off the east coast, 91 miles off the town of Guiuan in Samar province at a depth of about 20 miles. Wow, i hope everything is OK everywhere in the Philippines. Let's just pray. Stay safe. Thanks

It's all in the news now, yes in the Southern part of the Philippines, glad to hear that there were no damages or deaths yet ( I pray it stays that way), to all my countrymen down there, I hope you are all safe and please stay safe always.

I also felt it here in cebu and then all of a sudden all the people in facebook are putting status as earthquake!! very scary because the earthquake was strong and I felt getting dizzy up to this moment I am afraid that it will come back again. I hope no one is injured

We felt it also last night. I was scared when it happen. I was sitting beside my son watching a movie then suddenly we can feel movements.. Pretty scared to know that it was like about 7.6 to 7.9 magnitude.
Sadly to think but there is 1 casualty somewhere in Mindanao due to landslide.. Coz i think somewhere in Mindanao after the quake followed by a heavy rain..
Let us hold each others arm and offer a minute of silent for a prayer.
