Sudden interest in studying

I was surprised about my daughter's sudden spark of interest in studying and doing her homework right away. She wasn't like that before. She would even give me all the excuses she can think of to be able to play and cut homework time short. But, recently, she'd take her books to my room and would plead for us to start studying. She doesn't get tired easily and she gets really excited about doing her homework. I told my husband about it, and he was so happy, too. He's thinking that she may be getting some recognition in school, that's why she's more interested in her lessons, this time. Perhaps, she's doing well in class and likes to keep it up. I really hope so, nevertheless, I'm just glad that she's getting a good study habit this early.

Wow, so happy for you and your daughter. It is really good for someone to develop a good study habit at a very young age. Congratulations to that. Maybe your daughter find studying rewarding and that motivated her to do good in her studies.

It'll be card giving day soon. And, we'll see how she's doing overall in the first period of the schoolyear. Her exam papers are pretty fine, though.
