Hello, I'm immigrated to Canada 1 month ago and this week my 4 years old bulldog arrived. My family and I missed him very much, but the last 3 days were really hard, because we he was coming and we knew the trip was long and dangerous for him. Well, I went to pick up him at the cargo terminal. Everything was fine and now he's here with us. The thing is that he's having really hard time walking with us. He was never so much fond of walking, who has a bulldog knows it, yet it seems there's something else which is making breathe hard to him. When he's at home, he spends most of the time sleeping. We are not sure, but it's maybe the change of place that affected him. I know dogs and pretty much any kind of animal got used to the place where they live and a drastic change like that probably makes them get a little lost. Let's way and give him some time. The good thing is that he's with us again. A dog lover knows how strong that connection is.

I really feel bad for you. I have no idea how a bulldog acts, but I do know they have trouble breathing sometimes. Maybe it's just the whole ordeal and he will be fine and up to his usual self in a few days. And yes, it is good that he is with you again, and I'm sure he knows it. Hope everything is ok and you're new home is more than you asked for. Good luck!

Hello, I see you are a cat person. You know, my wife was also one. But, after we got married, the cats had to go! Hehehehe... I have nothing against cats though, I just rather not have them around. That's really interesting. I'll deal with that feeling eventually. As for my bulldog, I hope he'll be fine in a couple of days.

I would have never given up my cats. With me it's a package deal or no deal.
