difficulty breathing!

For sometime now I've been struggling to breath when I'm inside my house. My chest feels constricted and like there is a clog in my throat! I'm not sure what is causing it but believe since my house is pretty dusty and there not being any air flow, that it's probably a combination of dust mights and airborne germs. To combat this, I am using electric fans to freshen the air, a humidifier, aerosol spray to kill germs and resolve rug cleaning powder to hopefully clean my rugs so I can breath without almost turning blue! My question is, should I be taking Claritin or something? What is your opinion, what do you suggest? I know I should probably consult a doctor but they're expensive to visit and I'm hoping for a cheap solution for this problem.

HI there. I guess you are really sensitive with your breathing. One way to solve your problem is why not promote first good ventilation in your house. If the house is already free of all the dust in the world, and you have still have the difficulty then its time to consult a doctor. I know how hard it is if you have problem with breathing cause i too have the asthma but fortunately it is controlled anyways. So, better consult your doctor and hear the doctor's diagnosis and treatment for you.

Hi Keithdv, My breathing does seem to be real sensitive! I'm hoping that having cleaner air in the house will make it easier for me to breath if not, seeing a doctor might be the way to go. Glad your asthma is under control! It's one of the worst feelings not being able to breath! I never knew allergies could effect people the way they do. Now that I have this problem, it's taught me how even stuff you can't see can have a bad effect on the lungs. Good luck!
