Football Players and Ladies of the Night

I love college football. I think mostly is has to do with the energy on the field and the enery in the stands. All those kids screaming, yelling and cheering on their favorite team. They all dressed in school colors, have their faces painted up and are just having a great time. When watching the game you see those young men, getting beat up, knocked over, knocked down, spun around and still coming back for more. All of that reminds me of this quote: "Football players, like ladies of the evening, are in the business of ruining their bodies for the pleasure of strangers" Merle Kessler

in my college, with those gays in the field is my best liking time.we played football all the afternoon.football players' job is playing football, but work in the night. ladies of the evening also work in the night. only this is their common point i think.

Maybe I hadn't see that as a common factor but yes you have a point.

Never thought of football like that enjoythejourney, but a good comparison. When they're in high school and college it's more for the joy of the sport. I think there are other sports that are worse violent than football (not saying you can't get injured, because you can)but they have determination and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it is a "team" sport. Once somebody is all "psyched" up the rest of the team will be too!
