Status on MyLot

What do you think if MyLot has status like on facebook and tweeter?
They could lower the payment for updating status. For example, if starts and responds to a discussiions get 1cent, maybe we could get 0.001cent for starting and responding to a status. I think MyLot will be more popular.

The fact is that starting and responding on discussions does NOT get 1 cent.
There is No fixed rate for anything here. sometimes it gets more, sometimes less and sometimes nothing at all.
Mylot is not Facebook or Twitter. myLot is myLot and there is no need for a status because we already have one - at the top of our profile page. We can change it as often as we like by going here:

I do not understand why we should have to get apid for doing everything either

That's why i wrote 'if' since I don't know the exact money we get.
MyLot indeed is a discussion forum. But I want it to be more popular.
Have you ever gone through to 'No Responses' discussions? I usually goes there to respond to some discussions. I found a lot of discussions just like updated status.
Did I tag Indonesia? My wrong....

Only admin is aware of the exact money we get. It is a complicated aglorithm and myLot take care of it for us.
I go all over the place here and I too see many topics that are very simple with nothing of substance to discuss. Later they are usually deleted by admin.
You can ask for irrelevant tags to be removed by using the (!) button at the bottom of your topic.

I completely agree with you! I believe having the ability to have status is a great idea!! Maybe mylot could allow that and maybe ...just maybe depending on how many people comment on our status, maybe that could be what determines how much we earn from it...? Good idea you have there!

I think status updating would be a more social level , I think it would be nice . If mylot was more popular maybe we would earn more because they also would earn more .
