Its getting under my skin now, and I dont need this stress. They dont train us properly, and then they go on vacation expecting everything to run smoothly. A complete human error on my part, I punched in the wrong amount from the computer to the visa machine. I got in trouble for cleaning so much and doing the whole months cleaning list. What am I suppose to sit and stare at the wall when nothing to be done? Yet when I had a drink before they always say there is always something to do no standing around.

It may not be a good fit for you. How about straightening the shelves and turning all the cans the same way and looking for outdated or shortdated stuff.

That takes about 10 minutes, and we do it after each customers comes through. I was there 6 hours, I am looking for another job. I dont mind it overall, but my past experience compared to this job obviously is a lot more expectations. Im use to work 8 - 12 hours running off my feet with cleaning, etc we couldnt stop moving. This one we get in trouble for working and not working. But alot of people go in and out of this job, so i think I know why now.

Oh yes! That is the price of being a paid employee... I had an experience the same as yours way back my younger years but when I had my own business the experience turnaround. I suggest that if you can have your own little business to attend to, the stress you have right now is more worth it.

I wouldnt want my own business because I cant afford the finacial aspects. Sadly, many jobs in this economy are going under because of how they treat employees, or they want them to slave into the ground for minimal payments.
