how close are you to your family?

How important is your family to you? Which family membr are you most close with? Has the internet xhanged the way you view your family? Has it reduced the amount of time spent with your family? I remember a time when we didnt have internet and smartphones we were much closer as a family, but now it seems everyone is busy with something on the other everyone is distracted. Tools thats supposed to make us closer are tearing us a part. Do share your thoughts and experience on this.

Hi friend, my family is important to me and i love my parents, siblings, my wife as well as my kids. Now we are living separately and my wife and kids are every thing for me, always i share every thing with my wife and get her suggestion for the important things, she is also like me, share every thing and follow my ideas.

My family was so very important to me.Im living independently and until now I'm not still getting used into it.Eating together was a very happy moment for us because that moment we could share happy thoughts, jokes and happy conversations.We are far apart now.My dad was abroad, I'm here in Manila for work, My brother next to me was attending his school 2 hours travel away from home and my mother and my two brothers were left in the province.I could say that internet plays an important role to us because of our distance. Communication was still there.

if you are staying in the same house, may be internet and modern technology distracts you from being with your family. you prefer to spend time on internet, or watch TV, play video games etc, rather than to spend time with your family.
but you are staying away from your family, or they are away for work or any other purpose, internet and smart phones are the best way to keep in contact with them.
I'm more close to my dad. i love spending time with him, going out with him. ya i know, now a days kids don't like to go out with their parents. but i love to go out with them, i don't care what others say about it.

When i was in US for 1 yr i use to miss my family alot as thus was the first time i was so far from them.
We used internet for whole day chatting with them and do video calling.
I took a plan in which they give 3000free mins for $70. And so we use to talk for 1hr a days .
In this way the time spent and i came back to my friends.

I love my family you can't think about my experience.I spent the time with my family.You are right that i have much close to my parents.I am spent the lot of time with them not much.My father.He give the time to his work.But he is busy with his work and he always spent the time without of house.
