I wish I could add a blush up there..lol But I did suggest it on Yahoo under one of the relevant topics, and one person who came there was so impressed with it, that he wanted me to give him a two page write up so that he can follow it up with relevant authorities. Now, I dont know how to do that..honest..without exposing my email address to everybody..lol But the words he used like "innovative", and "interesting suggestions", and "deserves consideration" are all making me feel so..........intelligent? lol Right now I am a bit on ego ride..so pls. dont bring me down with a thud..lol My question to you all is...why do I use singular here..because I usually have more than one question.. a. Do you ever think of a solution to some burning issues around you? b. Do you feel your suggestion has something in it that it can be forwarded to the government? c. Do you know how to send such suggestions to your government offices? d. How would you know if your suggestion was considered or used up like a paper napkin? and e. Would you be as flattered as I am if some stranger went to a great extent saying he wants to take it up with the government? Ball is in your court..:)

You are good... Of course everyone will feel what you feel now when someone shows an interest in our idea or writing or even our choice of outfit. Congratulations.

Yeah, and he asked others also for their opinions, but so far I dont know if he even presented the idea to the authorities. If he has and some outcome is there, then may be we have a positive way out of this glitch..may be there are some drawbacks also..wish he would let me know the status..

Giving ideas to a government takes time, I think. Maybe takes months and years... You know how it is with government...

Hello my friend vandana7 Ji, Well, few yrs back, my hubby used to write all his griebvences and burst out only through news papers. At times he attaended some forums with media, but now-a-days everything is sold. On ehas to be very careful. Today's TOI, brought out on 05 Sep , where some Minister compared Parenting with teaching saying, that if parents can not control two of their children , how teacher in a class of 50 would control. My hubby and we with our DIL had long discussion. My hubby is of the view that first thing Minister Should know that a idle class should not have more tahn 25 students, next how he can compare parents with teacher, Teachers are paid, whereas parents are NOt. Monister should understand basic things. Igf such views are discussed here, likely that more people will read, but who botehrs in yahoo. May God bless You and have a great time

Hi Vandana Congratulations. a. and b. Yes. I have a few great ideas. But then it all stops. because I have no hope for India's future in the nearby era(at least in my lifetime). I tried and failed but havent given up and still keep disturbing the press (the Indian Express and the Telegraph). For the informing the government offices - I never tried it, to be honest, as I never have any faith on them. So the "d" doesnt arise. For the "e" if I cut out the government part - a pat of appreciation of hard work done is always welcome

The guy seems to be pretty influential journalist..lol I didnt think he would be so impressed..lol He asked for 2 page write up and said he would take it up from there..how do you go about it? lol I cant exchange mails..so I replied and lets see how he does it from here onwards. :) If indeed the idea gets implemented, I would pat my back. :)

Yes I have had some great ideas that I have voiced when we were in a group of my friends and they used some to a great outcome, nothing so great like in your magnitude. The reason I am joined in this discussion is that of the email part where you can open an email just to communicate with this person and don't include personal details if that is what you are afraid of. Congrats and good luck and let your ideas become something great.
