As you know I couldn't bring my washer and dryer with me because I have to use the pay washer and dryer in the building. I offered the my set to my son's x but she never came for it so we left it in the house. The landlord can do whatever he wants with it.

oh darn ! Had I known you were just going to leave it there, I would have taken it for sure ! I hate spending so much money on laundry mat every month, especially since I wash Miki's clothes so much.

Some people just don't know when they have a good deal. A washer and dryer is a pretty expensive appliance to buy now days. Your son's ex may wish she had gotten it. Maybe they didn't have a way to transfer it. Glad you got moved and how you settle in nicely.

that is exactly it, she couldn't get a guy with a truck to come and get it for her.

You'd think she would. Must not have wanted it very bad.

I hope you can sell to your landlord or if she don't want you can sell it someone.

no landlords don't buy furniture, the place comes unfurnished.

We bought a washer and dryer second hand when we moved into the trailer. The guy actually came over and installed it for us. He delivered it as well. The dryer is three years old and it was hardly ever used. It works great and now we can do laundry at our leasure. The only thing that is hard for me to do is to take the laundry out when it is done.

I had to leave my washer and dryer at the old place because we are not allowed having them in the apartment where I live.

That's a shame that you couldn't give it away or sell it...worse that you couldn't keep it. This will take time to adjust to.

It would be nice if he left it for the next renters to use.

Hi friend, so your washer and dryer is in your old house and your land lord is using it, i wonder why your son's ex is not interested in taking it, anyway your land lord is lucky enough did you deduct any amount from the rent for this items?

no the landlord does not buy used furniture, our places come unfurnished. So we did not even ask him. The girl could not find someone with a truck to take it for her.
