Have somebody wonders why an unmarried pregnant woman cannot continue to attend school classes while the man who impregnate her can continue attending classes as if nothing happens?Or when a single mother is denied by an opportunity because she is a single mother and single means to this people is without having still born children? And how about a single man who happens to father a child?Have you ever wondered why this man is an exception to the rule? Each of us born with mother.Without them we will never have life.Have you ever thought of the discrimination against women with this stereotyping? Our mother deserves best as well as women, soon or later they will become mothers too respectively.

When I was in high school, if a girl got pregnant she had to leave school. It was a disgrace. But now things are chanded in my country. Schools cannot by law expell a girl for being pregnant. Many other things have changed as law goes too. Some years ago, children born out of wedlock didn`t have the same rights that their siblings; now both have the same rights. That also goes to inheritance rights. Things are changing.

i know a christian school who let a pregnant 16y/o march and accept her diploma on their graduation day.. they didn't do anything to the girl but superiors removed the priest in charge for allowing the girl to march.. the school i graduated also allowed a girl i know to continue studying even though she is 6mos pregnant but didn't allow her to attend the graduation ceremony.. It all depends on their rules and regulations..

I don't where you are at but I know many women that have children that finish school and never dropped out or anything. I also know many single moms that get treated just like any other person in the world. I don't think many women get discriminated like some people think. There are some women that just don't try even though they have kids. My sister in law she is unmarried mother and while pregnant she attended college this past year and finished with straight a's. She just started back up with school and has a 3 month old baby she also worked while pregnant. She is pretty much a single month of one. Her boyfriend is in and out of her life and her baby's life at this moment so she isn't getting much help.

I don't think that women should be outcasted in the society without the blessings of getting married. Some countries considered this as shame to their family; others practiced equality.

Yes it is a discrimination to us women , but does this happen still at present ? It is a traditional practice , nowadays unmarried woman who are pregnant are accepted in our society. It is no longer a big deal ! Women are empowered ! Where are you living , why such practice still around ? All women are given equal rights may they be pregnant or not , married or not. No school refuses a person from having an education. Every individual has the right to education. Now if you still can't be accepted to a certain school then you seek help from human rights desk , they have remedy for this , let us see if you still won't be accepted. Goodluck !

Hello cleoselena, welcome to mylot. Well since you just mentioned about school classes, I could understand that this is all about school Rules and Policies. The solution is simple, look for school that do not discriminate. However, if you are talking in general, this is a different story. Have you not heard of WOMAN LIBERATION?
