Happy Birthday Mama Mary!

Today the Catholic Church celebrates the birthday of Mama Mary. Perhaps one would say, Is that really her birth date September 8? Well 8 or what? What matters most for me is that there was Mary who said yes to God to be the mother of Jesus and salvation came to us.

Yes, a beautiful day for us, when the Blessed Mother was born. Our Creator chose Her to be His Handmaid, and what a beautiful Handmaid She is. There is nothing that I asked of her that She did not grant. Thank You, Blessed Mother, for cradling me always, warm and tender, in Your bosom. Happy Birthday.
