Is it safe to use fiverr to bookmark my page on multiple bookmarking sites?

Hey mylotters, as you know, there are gigs in fiverr that offer you to bookmark your site to hundreds or even thousands of bookmarking sites like Digg, Reddit, etc. My question is, does it really work? Or maybe you can also point me to a site which offers great service (which is free) that will bookmark my page on multiple bookmarking sites at once. I need your comments and suggestions. Thanks!
