I went to see the doctor on Saturday and since I have been having an allergic reaction to the cold weather, the doctor recommended that I get a penicillin injection, it was so painful. When was the last time you got an injection and how painful was it?

Injection is only painful if we think of the pain though in fact it wasnt that painful if we only think of other things and only then we realized that they are already done with the injection part, the last one i had was during flu vaccine and during dengue test for my blood, it wasn't painful though it actually depends on how much cc it is, i had one before with 10cc for my dog bite vaccine which was very painful but not during injection but after.

Wow Homeshoppers, you must be very good at managing pain, for me I almost cried out as the pain was just so internal and it still hurts sleeping on that side.

Hey injections are always very much painful and they tend to leave their pain in the body for quite a long time but are always useful when it comes to treating a disease. i had last taken an injection some 5 months back when i had a severe fever and the doctor advised me to take an injection in order to recover quickly although it was not that painful as the nurse did her job very quickly and did not let me know the pain. What say?

I agree with you subhojit, they are so painful but the good thing is the medicine goes straight to the blood enabling a quicker healing.
