I haven't signed in to my yahoomail lately. I am only receiving pushmails direct to my phone. Thanks to a fellow mylotter friend. When I checked it, wow, I got thousands of notifications there. I started to delete some but I only finished deleting around 200 mails. LOL. I guess it will me a long time to delete everything. I'm leaving important ones of course. How about you fellow mylotters, have you checked your e-mails lately? Feel free to share your thoughts about them. Happy mylotting everyone.

Oh, it's good to have two separate email addresses. I guess most of us here are using two or more e-mail addresses. By having separate address, we can check important mails immediately and just clear unwanted notifications from Facebook, etc. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

I have my gmail but I don't check it often. Nobody knows my email address. I just gave it to my boss and of my students. I guess he was thinking of something so I didn't give my main email address. LOL. I want to protect my email add. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

There is a feature in gmail to allow you to auto filter and put labels on your incoming mails. That way, the mails will be categorized. You can then just go into the label, select all then delete them (notifications that you don't care about). You can even set the filter to skip the inbox so your inbox will only contain mails that you might be interested in.

The same thing happened to me when I had no time to log in to my hotmail account and get my mails checked... there were at least two thousand mails waiting for me to read. Actually most of them are spams, so I just deleted them page by page, checking if I know the sender or not. It still took a long time, and I can only hope I didn't delete anything important...

Yes, you are right. When we are not so careful, we could delete important emails. We can't retrieve them back if we already cleared our thrash, am I right? I guess we are having the same problem. Thanks for commenting and happy mylotting.

I have not checked my email for a month I finally had to remove about 1500 notification email in my inbox and hundreds of other emails in my Spam folder. Very tiring because I spent a couple of hours to read some emails and the deleting unnecessary notification. Now I have 2 email addresses. One email address to communicate with friends and family, one email address to register to multiple sites.

Oh, yes. That's great. It's better to use two different email addresses. One is for personal use and one is for business. You gave me an idea. Thank for posting and happy mylotting.

I've got over 60,000 to go through. Most of them are FaceBook notifications. It's very time consuming and boring. Soon I'll just go to the last page and just start deleting them, because they'll be all old news! lol I've found that by searching my emails I can then at least sort through the emails I think are important like mylot notifications. Happy emailing to you!

Wow, that's really thousands of email! I'm glad I changed my notification settings in Facebook. I get upset when I receive a lot of game invitations' notifications. My emails now are more on myLot. I'm happier that I have less emails because yours is really a lot. You're right, those will surely eat much of your precious time. Hope you'll be able to find time deleting some of them. Happy e-mailing and mylotting to you too. Thanks for sharing.

well our story is same. I too have not checked my in a long time and I know it is full. I would do it soon. There must be a way where can not get those notifications. I would like to disable my notifications because I don't want them to flood my mail box. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Yes, we have to filter our emails if we don't want unnecessary mails and we have to check our notification settings if we don't want to receive all notifications. Thank you and happy mylotting.

You could just leave it, mark everything read so that you know which are new mails going forward. If I am not mistaken, you have unlimited storage.

I'm not sure if it's really unlimited. The last time I check, it was almost 2,500 again. I should have time to delete some again. Yeah, I'll just mark them as read messages. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

I am also receiving bulk messages not only from myLot but from other sites and from scammers as well. I always delete them, but before deleting, I see to it that I check the name of the sender and the subject of the email. I don't want to delete important mails.

Ah it happened to me too before I had trouble of sending notifications. It seemed that some notifications are not sent to my email . But yes , actually I got about 50 emails per day minimum from myLot . So if I haven't checked it for 4 days I would have 200 mails too If you aren't interested to some certain notifications, you could change the settings on preference .It would help you filter the mails you want to be sent to you

Oh, yes. I have read that. However,I like receiving all types of notifications here in myLot. I just check myphone and see who started discussions and who responded to mine, etc. They are helpful to me and they save my time. Thanks for commenting and happy mylotting.
