who says eating choclate makes you fat.

I am medical student, half of my life i am either tense, sleepless, worried so the only way i can avoid feel miserable is by eating choclates. I ate around 150gms choclate everyday still i am really thin. Every book around me proves that how easily you gain weight when you tense and eat extra calories in form of choclate but why none of it works on me? why am i not gaining weight?:(( does anybody has any tips regarding weight gain rather than eating vcakes and choclates and ice creams which i do alot. please do advice me what should i do to increase weight.

i think it all depends on your metabolism..People who exercise frequently has very good metabolish..Younger people have faster metabolism and declines as they get older.. Try eating healthy foods like avocado, nuts..They have a high fat in them but not ones that will hurt your body..They are healthy fats.. Hope this helps Vanessa

Maybe you have a fast metabolism that it can easily burn your calories or probably you have a malabsoption to calories. I know that you need to consult a medical doctor to further check on your condition. You make me crave for chocolate cake now, ice cream though. Nice one there. Thanks

hey I had a entire medical chekup everything is alright with me, doctor said i may gain weight after wedding, but I am scared who will marry me if i stay like this, I don't want to gain weight but I want to stay healthy atleast good enough so i look fresh.

With any types of foods, higher calories usually means gaining more fat unless you burn it off through exercise. Otherwise, it also depends on your body type; some people have a higher metabolism than other despite the difference in how much time they exercise. If you really want to gain weight, you might want to try protein shakes that build up your weight. Also, I have heard that muscle weighs more than fat, but that might just be a myth. Anyway, if you want to gain more muscle, try lifting more weights.

hey, if i try to start lifting weight don't you think i will lose more, and what kind of protein shakes you are talking about? I just don't want to get fat but want to be in a good shape, everybody is saying if you are eating alot of choclate you will get pimple :( is it right?
