Taking a bath right after travelling from work, how does it affect?

Some people say that you should rest after 1 hour before taking a bath. Which indeed that is what I am doing. But then lately I am taking a bath 30 minutes after I traveled from work. Yesterday when I got home I really took a bath right away without resting. Does it have negative effect if you attempt to take a bath without resting after 1 hour or right after travelling once you just step inside your home then going to the bathroom right away? I think the question is not the affect from taking a bath right after traveing from work.I wanne tell you don't taking a shower using the cold water right after exercising.Because your body's pore will be open, after travelling from work .If you take a shower using the cold water right now ,the ordure which leads to some disease will keep in your body .

Actually taking an ice bath (or cold) after exercising is recommended by some experts. It helps to reduce inflammation of joints and tissues and relieve soreness among other benefits, not to mention just feeling better and more refreshed after a sweaty workout. Water is meant to cleanse, not carry bacteria and germs into open pores.

What do you mean by ordure? So when the pores are open it has something to do that there will be diseases?

There is much to be said on both sides. After exercising ,you should take a warm bath to clean up your sweat which includs some dirty things .If you use the cold water ,you cannot clean up your body ,sometimes it could lead to aome acnes in your body. Ice bath does helps to inflammation of joints and tissues, but if you always do that you will be sick.If don't believe it ,just do it .

Just like you my friend, that is my question also. Though, most people are saying that it's best to take a rest first for about 30 minutes or more when you are from work or travel. And thst's what i always follow. One more thing, they say that it's bad to always take a bath in the evening because you will become anemic?

This reminds me of when I was a kid and we were told we could not go swimming right after eating because we would get cramps. But it is all a myth. See this: http://www.snopes.com/oldwives/hourwait.asp

It is actually false as I searched it just right now. it doesn't really have anything to do when taking a bath.

What about taking a bath right after eating. As i have heard , it is not good because your digestive system is still working hard so you have to wait for at least 30 minutes, for it to settle down.

My mother would tell me to sit for at least 10 minutes and get relax before going under water . The country I live in we take cold shower more than warm shower so if I am hot ill have to sit and get my body heat down . I sometimes just go straight into the shower I dont think it have any permanent effect if any .

The old ones say you will be having folk illness but then because of the domino effect people will easily believe without bothering asking the credible one who can tell the right thing.

my mom would often get mad at me for doing this but then i am still doing it. her reason is that my body is tired, let it rest first before taking a shower or a bath..as it has bad effects.... maybe it does have, so lately i have been resting first before taking a shower or i shower with warm water.

According to what I've searched just right now if you are going to take a bath immediately right after being tired from work or you did the workout it will just lead you to headache or some health problems. But you can still take a bath after a while as long as not immediately because it washes off the sweat and refreshes you.

I have never heard of such a thing! What is the rationale behind waiting for an hour to take a shower/bath after you get home? What possible negative effects could sneaking an early bath have?

I think that is a myth, but old members of the family told me to rest before taking a bath. To avoid arguments, I do take a bath after resting for a few minutes or hours.

Few minutes is actually enough but after 1 hour is too much for saying. I don't know how others just exaggerated it. They are just being much for so sure, the main point here is that they just don't have to take a bath immediately.

My folks and nanny would often tell me to take a rest first prior to hitting the shower whenever I go home from school or somewhere. I have been doing that and have passed on that to my children. But it kept me thinking sometimes, how come those basketball players and other ball players hit the shower right after a game? I don't think anything bad happens to them. Coz if there are negative effects, don't think they have lasted in their respective teams.

It makes me realize as well what about the people who are in sports tend to take shower right away after their game. Except for swimming of course which they weren't able to sweat. I think now I should do that once I get home I will take shower right away.
