New pet puppy in the house,,,,,

Good day folks.
We do have a new pet and its a puppy Lupin.
It is a white puppy with brown spot at the tail and in face. Lupin is quite so playful and active most of the time. Always running inside the house and come over when a member of the family come in the house.
Since we a pet cat named Garfield, as expected they are not comfortable with each other or enemy as they always says.
But as day goes by, a week now of staying in the house, I guess they are now friends cause I saw them playing in the kitchen this morning.Hope it will continues in the coming days so no fight in the house hehe.

A cat and dog can become best of friends. They only need time.But in your case I see that they have become friends just within a week
I have had great memories of the relationship between them. My cat would even want our pet dog to be next to her when she littered. The moment she littered our dog would lick the baby kittens. They even shared the same plate.
Hope you too will have a nice experience.

For sure they would really be friends the fact that they always be together all the time in the house.They used to play now, run after each other and so far no fight at all according to my mom.

SO far I guess they are now enjoying each others company.
They do eat together now without hearing any bark.

Hmm,I hope you're right.
I have three kittens and I'm getting a pup in a month!No idea how they will get on,but hopefully they would became friends.
Last thing I need is my 'children' fighting.

Congratulations to you on the news that you have a new puppy. I very much like the description of your new dog. I think Lupin is a lovely name and I am sure it suits him well. It is lovely you also have a pet cat called Garfield. I am glad they have started to play together and get on really well. They are sure to become best friends soon. Good luck.

Thanks,it is nice to see them playing and running after each other.
Used to come over every time I got home from work.Just feels good to see them cuddle and play with each other.

Wow congratulations to the new member of your family!! What breed is Lupin?Having pets around lessens your chance of having stress and some other health issues...Pet dogs are the most loyal of all pets.They give unconditional love to their owners as well..

I sometimes wish to have puppies but sometimes not because they can be so rambunctious! One puppy a friend has is so cute and fun but he is not house trained and he will chew on shoes if you do not watch. He will also find other things to chew so I know it can be hard to watch a puppy, like a lil child! 
I think your pets will be friends now. If they're able to see each other in the house often enough they should learn to like one another. Unless it is an older and dominant cat of the house, sometimes, older cats will be even more mean than younger!

Yeah for sure they will be friends they they will be together in the house all the time.
That's what I am worrying at first and tell it to my mom that it might chew my shoes, so far it didn't happened and hoping that won't happen but to sure, I put my shoes and slippers inside the bedroom.

It seems that they will kept it that way according to my mom.
