When buying your cellular phones, or gadgets or appliances how do you consider your purchases? is it only about the product itself, or do you factor in your decision how the company issuing the said item would be able to service your product after sales? See sometimes we cannot really tell how a product really is so if it can be an inconvenience for you to find a service center for your product, would it affect your decision in making a purchase, knowing that the product you bought may not be serviceable if it got defective, etc?

I used to check the brand and even where it was made. The price was also important and I tended to wait a bit and buy the best. Now everything is made in Chine, all brands are the same and all are disposable, no matter what the paper says. So I buy cheap gadgets and pray that they will last some time.

oh yeah, quite a lot of products from china does seem like irepairable. hehe i mean they are of poor quality and well since they are much cheaper than any other brands, i guess that it sure is cheaper to buy new one than have the older repaired for a cost and not have it work as it used to be. =)

You do have a point. I would say that I have considered having service centers in the city before buying any gadgets. I have bought my laptop just this year and the things I have considered was first, if I could play my online games on it, so it has to have a good storage memory and video card. Second is the brand, I search online for reviews of how good the name is on any of its gadgets. Third is the service center, of course I am not a tech specialist and if something goes wrong with my laptop, I should be comfortable that it will be checked easily since they have an office available in the city.
