A 10 year old child succumbed to death due to corporal punishment at school..

Hey guys..
In a shocking and a rather shameful news, a 10 year old child died because of corporal punishment at his school and the reason being his inability to complete his home work. I mean there is absolutely no fault of that child. There might be some problem at his end that might not have allowed him to complete the assignment.
Do u think corporal punishment should be strictly banned? Please share your thoughts!

Corporal punishment for a 10 year old?
And what kind of punishment does the teacher deserves for killing this innocent child?
Say it's accident?...gracious, what if the kid's parents would kill the teacher?
I won't stop in there.
If, that's my kid, God forbid me.

Hey thanks again for your response. Yes capital punishment is the best possible decision for the teacher. This will instill a fear in all the teachers and they would never dare to repeat such crime on children at least. It is pretty bad that no such development has happened ever since this sensational incident has occured.

this is strictly condemnable for sure and i am sure the whole management has to be banned for this illegal action,one must take tough action against them

Well yes, the whole management should be blamed first for not instructing their teachers to act rude on their students. Children are so much gentle and sensitive and they have to be groomed and nurtured in a better way and not be acting on them like this. This act of teacher will always stay in the minds of the students of that school and they will always have that fear of getting a punishment like this in the future. Is this what we always wanted our children to live their life with a fear in their minds?

If I were the parent of that child I will not stop until the person responsible is in jail.
How could they kill just because of incomplete homework? How cruel they could be? The parents send their children to school to be taught and not to be killed. I know that corporal punishment has long been prohibited but many teachers still use this to discipline the children. This is not good. If the child has fault, then they should rather call the parents. The teachers don't have the right to hurt their students.

Well absolutely, the matter should have been handled by the parents themselves. The teacher should have left the child with a strict warning and then should have contacted his parents personally and should have sorted out the problem. The teacher now lost his respect in the school and society. Any parent on earth would have done the same thing as u.

Yes something is bound to happen like this somewhere when they allow it to happen. Some nutcase goes overboard when I don't even believe there should still be corporal punishment allowed in schools to begin with. What country was this? What exactly happened? Is there going to be an arrest? There certainly should be for the sake of the innocent people involved, cause murder is murder no matter how it's done. This was incredibly outrageous and could have been avoided at all costs.

Absolutely deplorable....corporal punishment should be absolutely banned...teacher has no idea why homework wasn't completed...no excuse for this no excuse at all.

Well i second your thought completely. The teacher should have interrogated that child first and if he was not able to answer then the teacher should have personally complained his parents and should left the issue to his parents' hand and then we would never had to hear this piece of news. Whatever the teacher did was completely wrong and has set a very bad example for the entire teacher community.

Corporal punishment accomplishes nothing productive in society when it come to children. This type of action is not discipline but abuse. That teacher/administrator should be brought up on charges for murder. Stuff like this makes me so sad and it is so unnecessary. What is wrong with society today.

What is wrong with the teacher who gave such harsh punishment for not doing homework. These teachers think they are the owners of the kids and they can do anything with in the four walls of the classroom. The teacher should be sacked on spot. if I was the parent god forbid I will take the teacher to court. this is ridiculous. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

yes this is very very bad thing and should be heavily condemned. I cannot believe such things can even happen in our modern day society. We might be advanced in science and technology but we are still backward in our thought process and this was a clear example of this. What do u think should be done with that teacher?
