How do you find Bridge Cameras/Hybrid digital cameras

Well, basically... Bridge cameras are a leap of a DSLR and Point-and-shoot all rolled into one. I for one owned a bridge camera and find it more convenient using rather than your typical point-and-shoot. How about you? what's your say about bridge cameras?
