need is things that a people must have in order to do something. if he or she don't have that certain things, he or she will fail in themission. want is just additional to make things better and easier. have or don't have the things that we want does not fail us from doing something.

for me, needs are things or people you can't live without or in the absence of it, make your life more difficult...wants are objects that you wish to possess just for the heck of it...hehe
