I always look forward to one particular person commenting on my birthday but he didnt this year... I do care when those who have the same birthday get a message and I dont it hurts my feelings a bit. but im a big girl. has the facebook birthday message lost its charm? would your feelings be hurt? or is it just another silly site?

I have hidden my birthday on FB. I don't like the idea of someone wishing me just because FB reminded them. Actually I do not wish anyone one their birthdays but I am in touch with them throughout the year ofcourse selectively. I would rather that my friends and family stay in touch with me during the year than wish me on my birthday and disappear during the year!

Well, I don't actually mind people greeting me, I hide my birthday on Facebook to see who will remember my birthday, if someone greeted me, then I guess it means either they care about me or has a good memory, if not, then it just means that they don't remember. Anyways I think my birthday is just like any other day, I don't find it that special.

Hi minkmano! It's not important for me if my fb friends will not send me any message on my birthday because I don't always go online on fb. Although my classmates and friend would certainly greet me it because they would be reminded by fb.

When I was more active on Facebook during my first two years using it, I was quite thrilled seeing people posting about wishing me a happy birthday. However, I have used Facebook for many years and have not been as active anymore. Basically, Facebook has lost its luster for me. Although my friends still go on Facebook very frequently, I have grown bored of it. Nowadays, I use Facebook not to update myself on my friends' feeds but to keep myself updated on feeds of my interest pages.

Actually, i don't put my birthdate in my profile because birthday greetings would only flood my timeline. And only i can post on my timeline so if they want to greet me, they can send me a message instead. My friends and relatives greet me by texting or calling. Some use facebook to say happy birthday. But of course i'd feel a bit hurt if they don't remember my birthday because i greet my friends and family every year, no excuses.

I don't really care about happy birthday message on facebook, the people who really cares about me will text me, my best friend even come to my house to wish me happy birthday...that's what I care about.

I think it is always great to get lots of messages wishing happy birthday. I always love to see lots of messages from Facebook and other sites. I hope you get lots of messages from your friends during your birthday.

I dont care because I am not really attached to online people since around a year now . I always like to see it from my family and real offline friends . They dont have to put it on my status since I am kinda a private person they could just send me a message . Also I dont make alert on Facebook about my birthday so if you dont know me in person you can never tell when is my birthday .

I do not mind if people do not put happy birthday to me on face book, as I have done my face book so that people can not post on my wall. Usually friends text me happy birthday or pop round or call to say it to me. I try to send as many people as I can happy birthday when I go on there, but do not go on there as often as I use to.

I am the member of facebook since last 3 years but still I not say "happy Birthday" to a single friend. Not important for me and I not comment to anyone on their birthday. I chat some time with online family members or friends but not write any birthday message on their wall.
