Hi I'm sure if I got the photo uploades
my former landlady the room i was renting
was in a old stone house that was around
200 yr old, her cat is suppose to be a indoor
cat but with the old latches this cat open door
and can get out it take her 5 minute to work
on a latch one day she want to come in my room
I here the latch metal sound I knew it was
the cat no one else was in the house at that time
that when I time her 5 minute to open a door with
the old metal latches then she pushes the door
with her paw I think this cat has a Phd
does any one have a smart cat like this?

My cat was an outdoor cat (he has passed away 2 months ago T_T) and used to can open the doorknob by jumping from the outside shelf, and then come in to the house if the door was not locked. Cats definetely smart animals, I think they are almost as smart as dogs but cats don't like to please us humans so it's hard to measure their intellegence because they don't like being ordered around by us humans. But dogs in contrary love to please humans and willing to do things for humans who they trust, so it's easier to say dogs are smarter than cats...just because they're willing to corporate with humans when cats just want to do something when they feel like it...Cats are aloof but definetely smart ^^
