The first and the last time that I was able to avail of the promo fare of Cebu Pacific (A local Airline Company) was November of 2011. I paid half of the actual fare price. After that i was not able to check of new promos anymore because I became so busy with my work. There are also times that I checked but always, the seats were already sold out. My friends are really lucky when it comes to promo fare hunting. Sometimes they could avail of the "peso fare" ($.025) excluded of tax. Some of were able to fly for 400 pesos ($10) A also want to avail of these promo fares again in preparation for the next year's vacation. Hopefully, I would be lucky enough this time. How about you my dear fellow myLotters, were you able to avail of these promo fares already. Please share your experience.

With plane travel I always buy economy class tickets. I buy in advance and try to pick the days with the lowest cost. I try to make sure I am not buying at peak time unless I book as soon as bookings are permitted. With train travel I have a family and friends railcard. I buy long distance trips by train in advance to get the lowest cost fares. Super advance tickets are cheap. I must specify which trains I am going to travel on and get free reservations. I bought an around the world ticket leaving in February 1993 for one thousand pounds. I bought a return flight to New Zealand leaving in November 2001 for eight hundred pounds with stopovers in the Pacific Islands. My best bargains were two hundred pound flights to the Maldives in 2005 and Cancun in Mexico in 2006. Flight prices nowadays are more pricey due to higher security measures, fuel surcharges and extra costs. It cost one thousand eight hundred pounds to fly to Argentina for me and my two kids in 2012.

We've got this chance last year when my teammates plan to have a trip in Hongkong. And yes, the team is so lucky to avail the piso ticket, but I am not lucky to be with them. I can't bear to have a trip alone and leave my kids at home. So, I just give my slot to any available person from the other team to join the group.

for three times last year, i was able to avail of the promos by the budget airlines. the cheapest one was the piso-sale going to cotabato. i only paid more than 300 pesos. then, there was the half the price going to bangkok. and the last one was a promo going to bohol. for this year, i have not tried any promos because i have not fixed my schedule yet for vacations. probably next year again.

The last one we availed was days before the holy week. We were five my three children, my son's wife and me and we were able to save more than a thousand pesos each on a round trip ticket.

Surely this kind of promos will give more excitement to us and we can save a good money with this kind of offers, till today i don't tried this kind of offers, as i don't have enough luck, hope i will try it later

I have never availed of the promo fares because I have never been lucky enough to snag one . I remember last year when it was my husband's friend's wedding, they were able to book a flight to Virac for like 188 pesos only. The following morning, it's back to its usual 4,000 pesos fare. So unfair!
