Yeah, I am proud to promote Davao City as one of the most livable and friendliest City in the Philippines, but we often travel out of town for nice spots like falls, beaches... but if am to decide for the group, I just want to hang around at the City skirts, like Mt. Apo... I believe that I need to be familiarize of all the beautiful places here before going to venture out afar... How about you? Are you telling your friends to take some look at your own place before going somewhere for holidays? Or trip? Why or why not? Can you share you beautiful spots there? Any, am proud of our crocodile park here! Share yours...

Malaysia is a small country between 2 giants Thailand and Indonesia. Though my country is small, I am proud to introduce it as a tourist attraction. In a small country like mine it's multi racial. There are the Malays, Chinese, Indians and Eurasians living in harmony. We have a varieties of food that suit any race. There are many food havens of your choice. You just name it. We are sure to have it. If you love shopping, the are many shopping malls, flee markets or the nite markets. It is a peaceful country. Transportation is convenient. Hotels are clean and many. Beaches are clean and there are many islands of clear waters for snorkerling and diving. We have good internet broadbands to stay connected while in Malaysia! Welcome!!

Thanks for that. My teacher in high school has just moved in Malaysia because her husband worked there for a long time... I guess they have acquired citizenship... Anyway, my elder sister want to work there as well, I guess if her visa or documents will be approved she will be there very soon. Anyway, we are of Malay ancestors, so amazing that Filipinos and Malaysians looks the same... know about Carmen Sue? Is she a famous Malaysian actress? She has been here in our country for some show and movie series, and I guess she have commercial for RDL... here.

My place is indeed a city and there has been enough tourism happening here. I am actually talking about the place I reside now. But my native is actually a village. Its a very beautiful place with greenery and good beaches and tourism is slightly creeping in there. Tourism does bring lot of job opportunities. but the people it can also spoil the place with wastes.

Thanks for sharing that, my home town also is a beautiful place, but I wont really promote it because it's not safe... but here in Davao City, am sure this is a safe place for every one!

In the summer I am keen to promote Somerset in England as a tourist area to explore. Weston-super-Mare been is miles long and made of yellow sand. The pier is lovely to walk along and fine views can be seen over to Wales and the two islands off shore. The high one is called Steep Holm Island and the flat one is called Flat Holm Island. In summer there is a sightseeing wheel which is great to go on to. I suggest days out to Clevedon to see its Victorian Pier, Glastonbury to go up the Tor and Up Hill to see a splendid view over Weston super Mare. Cheddar Gorge is well worth visiting too.

Of course, I am proud of Davao! But yeah, you're right. We prefer to go out-of-town than exploring what is in our own place. I don't know why... Maybe because it's more thrilling to explore other places because we are already used to our own. And it is more fulfilling to say "I've gone to (name of other place)" than saying we went nearby... But there are some nice spots that we are proud with Davao. Yes, Crocodile Park is one. We also have Malagos Garden, our People's Park, beaches in Samal (it's still part of Davao), Jack's Ridge Restaurant, and many more.

Well, it depends. I love California, and I love being from here. I am from Los Angeles County, California, and I do not regret being from here because California may be hot most of the time, but there is always something to do around here. If you stick around here for awhile, we have cool beaches, nice deserts, high mountains, fun valleys, and pretty much you name it. We have theaters, malls, fairs, forest, shopping, amusement parks... okay, we have every everything here. California is famous for many things. We have Hollywood, Pasadena (I highly recommend Pasadena), Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Fresno, Modesto, Mission Viejo, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Malibu, Napa Valley, Eureka, Redding, Sacramento, Carmichael, Tahoe, Sequoia National Park, Pomona, Ontario, Chino Hills, Claremont, Irvine, San Luis Obispo, and the Silicon Valley. California is the place to party.
