What are some board games that are good for adults?

I love board games and I am looking for new ones to buy.
Already have Monopoly and Scrabble so please give me some other options?
Should be suitable for people who are over 20 :)

Chess is one of the best board games. It will really challenge one's mind on what strategy should the player do to win the game. Another one is game of the generals. Hahaha it is so cool I think. :) Those games are enjoyable. ;)

It makes me wonder though, what kind of board games that aren't suitable for adults? 
Well, other than those two, I also play Chess and Reversi/Othello.
Battleship is also fun, although I never bought it. I just need pencils and papers, lol.

I also play scrabble and monopoly.Scrabble is the best board game that I played.My aunt and grandfather plays it always and it is really great way to spend time on this game because it will help you to learn new words.Another game that we play is boogle.I really love to play word games.
