If a friend from abroad was paying you a short visit what is the one famous tourist attraction you would take him to? Would it be a modern building,an ancient site or a place of outstanding natural beauty? Or perhaps none of these...

If they came here to Idaho to see me I would take them some place close. I think of Arco where there are caves and weird lava beds and stuff that seems like you are on another planet. It is really different from anything a person would see anywhere else. If I had lots of money i would take my guest to Philadelphia and Massachusetts and even Washington D.C. to show them the history of our country.

Everyone has cheated a little, I only asked for one destination but it is great that so many of you are spoiled for choice. I think Arco would be a destination with a difference, yes, I would like to go somewhere that felt out of this world. I would never forget that experience with you.

Gosh Montreal has so many different sites it would be hard to choice. I think I would take them to the International Jazz festival if it was summer and a beautiful caleche (horse ride) in old Montreal. Winter possible a ski lodge, museums, and underground shopping.

A lively choice winterose. Two quite different choices so your friend would have an interesting visit. The caleche sounds romantic.

If a foreign friend visited me I would take him or her to see the Stone Henge. It is an ancient site and we would see that in the morning. During the afternoon I would like to take my friend to Avebury Stone Circle. I think he or she would find these sights interesting. I haven't yet been to see Stone Henge but luckily I have been to the fascinating stone circle.

Stonehenge is something not to be missed, i would prefer to see it as the sun is going down, more of an ancient feel to it then I imagine. Was there some reason why you would go there in the morning?

Are you talking about what we would show of our country orwhat we would show of our city? It is very different. I live in a modern city and probably I`d take the tourist around the city, to a couple of museums nad then I`d take him to our awesome Andes Mountains an hour away from my house or to the Pacific Ocean, a couple of hours by car.

Since my friend is a tourist from modern high tech civilization... I will bring him back to the future.I will bring my friend to beach, we have so many beach here, to ride in our kalisa, jeepnyes, tricycle and habal habal, , to experience things which he/she never did before.life in a farm lplanting rice, riding carAbao, mountain climbing, eating our native delicacies, no spoon fork please, using stairways,. Etc..etc..Lol..I might make my friend afraid of my plan but it's up to him if he/she will agree the itinerary :).. If not then there's so many beautiful spots in my country from north to south, east to west there are so many things to do..just be adventurous and enjoy the fun....surely he/she will be my VIP friend, no hold barred :)
