What I absolutely hate when I go on youtube and Im listening to songs and I scroll down to the comments section and start reading the comments and I see people going at it comparing artist. Recently I was listening to some Emelie Sande songs and I absolutely love her. One youtuber was going on about how she was nothing compared to beyonce and then others saying about how people like Katy Perry get so much views and Emelie doesnt get as much. Why do people always compare artists to each other. I dont get it. There are different types of genres in music hence there will be different styles and techniques of performance and voices. We as the audience are not all the same and we need the different types of music so which appeals to us our what we like and our uniqueness. Are all people like Rihanna and Celine are U2 suppose to sound the same? Then whats the point?

I have noticed that for a very long time. The best way to avoid it is just avoid reading them. What I do is make playlists of different songs I like and then when I want to listen to them I just play one of the lists and go about doing different things. For example at the moment I am cleaning my room and just wanted some soft music to listen to. Nothing but background music so I am playing a Henry Manicini list. YouTube is a great way of finding not only music, but television shows, full movies etc. Don't bother with the trolls ~ just enjoy the videos!
