which one will be best to host website Linux or windows?

Are you trying to host at your home. Windows is good as its easy to maintain and tools are available but with linux you need to know commands for installing each tool and to manage your website using apache or whatever.
If you are looking for hosting in third party then you should consider its features like security, reputation, featurs they provide like CMS, blog support and many others. How frequently they update their tools and like that many more...

no friend.. actually all the web hosting site offering linux hosting and windows hosting ... so which one to choose...
by the way... linux hosting is much more cheaper than the windows one..

Hi Marinerpulak, I refer Linux hosting. As it is cheaper, it is also more secure that windows. You can learn lots of commands in Linux. :) Hard at first but it worths it in the end. :)
