Online love affair

Its been for many years now that i stopped visiting to the chat site i used to be with before even since i was in college, maybe because i felt so alone since my daughter and mother is currently having their vacation in the province, for few hours of rejecting and ignoring messages from different guy due to unnecessary words then all of a sudden i have this guy whose very nice and never mentioned of asking me to show him any parts of my body, instead we talk about funny things.
To cut it short he insisted for my number even if i refused many times, then when he got my number his been texting me everyday and almost every hour, in fact its more or less 30 messages i have in my phone everyday from him and i appreciated it a lot coz his from other country and i know it cost him a lot, and for all my life his the only person showing me that much care and giving me so much time by texting me, not unless those whose coming from my own country with unlimited call and text messages features we can have here but with him is different.
Its been a week now that he never tired doing it everyday, though i never meet him yet and im asking if there's a successful relationship that start online and ended being together. His from Canada and I'm from the Philippines though. What do you think my fellow mylotters.

So sounds like hopefully this will continue to be a good thing for you. Just remember to always play it cautious until you really get to know him. You need to be cautious until you know. But if he is for real he will share everything with you in time. There have been a lot of long distance relationships that do work out.

Actually i really don't want to expect from him since i didn't meet him yet, its better to be careful, my other friend used to meet her husband online too and it took them 5 years of chatting before they met up and now they are happily married and they both live in the guy home country now. Though of course not all have the same faith so it really takes time and effort and of course trust. Yes your right there's long distance that work and tested by time and if that happened then it means they really meant to be for each other

I think it's too early to tell at this point. You're still at the mushy stage or the getting to know each other in a romantic way thing. It all depends on how the two of you will handle the distance and time constraints. But on e he made that effort to actually visit and see you here and you fel there's a connection, then that's a good indication that it will blossom further. Although be wary that you can't be too sure about anything in this world. Even those who are already engaged end up breaking up. But for now, enjoy his company and get to know him well.

Yes thank you,that's what im doing right now talking to him though only as friends so probably time will tell someday, its really not easy to trust someone we just meet online unless we already meet them in person.
