Songs that you sing to your baby to make them sleep?

I sing or hum the songs from the show Pajaminals. The show is on the Sprout network. We watch it every night before bed.

Rock a Bye Baby and I Love You from Barney are the best ones. It is also a good idea to buy one of those toys where there are recorded lullabies, or maybe a cd with such music. Soft sound and instrumental songs are a great way to make your baby feel relaxed and sleep. There are also some toys, just like soft toys, which when pressed will glow and play soft music, such as ocean themed songs and nature songs. They are great.

Hey thanks for such a lovely discussion. Though i do not have a child but i do have a small niece and a nephew whom i love the most and whenever they go to bed, i make it a point to tell them interesting riddles and stories so that they can sleep properly. i do not prefer singing songs for them as both of them are usually tired and exhausted at the end of the day. So i usually stick to telling them stories and make them sleep this way. What say?
