are ghosts real?

I was walking one afternoon when I saw my co-worker staring and even waived at me so I smiled and want to approach her but all of a sudden she just disappeared. When I got home texted her and ask her if she was at this place and she said she wasn't my nerves rose when I got that reply. What could be the meaning of this?

I've heard and I don't know how true it is that if someone is on your mind you can see them or if they are thinking of you can project their image. It's kind of like thinking of someone close and thinking about calling them when your phone rings and it's the other person on the line. It's happened to me. Weird I know, I think it's just part of our psychic connection to each other.
