Multi-levelling/Networking Business

With the recession again looming(as a result of the Euro Crisis and the US economic uncertainty), a bunch of networking businesses sprouted like mushrooms. They offered a certain window of opportunity with a promise of a fast pay-out(once you have developed your own network of down lines). Unfortunately, a lot also of people have been victimized by these networking companies which just suddenly shuts down right after these people have made their investment into their companies. Hence, my question is this: Is the networking/multi-levelling concept really applicable in the real world? Or is it just possible in theory?

i don't particularly believe in mlms mainly because they are after all, unsustainable. they will eventually fail because unless everyone constantly reinvests, they will run out of money to give and cycle around. it is essentially a pyramid scheme. same idea, but modified differently to make you think that it is a whole new money making opportunity.

From what I have experienced previously, yups! It is just good during the start of the business..and its good if you're one of the up lines since you still harvest from your recruits..not good if you're the recruits since you now have a limited members to recruit. =)

First thing i would ask one who is investing, Why did he or she invest in a company that is not legal and nothing you get in paper. If the company gives written on a paper then you can claim your money. But investing blindly in a company is total madness. Multi level marketing is more for selling products and not for investments like that. I also a part of MLM where we sell product of America which is all Aloe vera based products. I am not doing much because it is quite expensive and hard to sell but there are people who are doing very very good and earning good money. MLM is true and exists. but forget about it when it comes to investments because people are fooling others when they say MLM investing.. So don't get fooled. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Thank you for your inputs. Previously, I did joined one multi levelling company named forever living. Initially, the performance was ok. But, as time passed by, it became more and more difficult to earn money due to the following problems: 1. Poor result of the expensive product resulting to unsatisfied customers. 2. Difficult to accomplish the required number of down lines in order for me to satisfy the MLM rule. 3. Saturated market in such a way that a lot of people in a particular area are already members of the said MLM company..This in turn resulted for everybody not to have any sales.. Again, thank you for your inputs and have a wonderful day ahead too.
