Finding a job is really hard. Nowadays in order to get a job, you have to have first a friend, relatives etc that are working on that company so that you have no hassle of applying. It's what happened to me right now. Because I cannot really find for a job on my own my Aunt recommend me to her close friend who owns a company. Then suddenly her friend called me for an interview then that's it..on the following day she told me to report to work. Actually there are lots of applicants who applied for the position I'm with. But I was chosen. This is not the only incident I've encountered. It also happens on other people. One of this is in Government. You cannot really work in a government(like city hall) if you don't know a person in there. Well..that's what I've observed.

Hello I agree! Same observation. This situation usually happens in Government or even in any private companies. It is really unfair but that's the reality. Good thing for you,you have an Aunt who recommend you. I hate job hunting. Very exhausting. :( Hope you will enjoy your job..:)

In this time and age this is a reality both in public and private offices. You may be intelligent but someone may beat you getting that desired position for the simple reason that "you have the brain" but he "has the sponsor" and the later qualification has more influence on the hiring process.
