Last night I was not able to be home early. I went to the church for the evening service and had dinner with friends. When I got home, my "papang" was already asleep.
Today, when I woke up I didn't saw him inside the house. He went somewhere. Today when I got home from work,I kissed him and when I turned my back, he said "oops you owe me 2..You came late last night and I wasn't here when you woke up".. I said, "aww.. so I owe you then?:/"... THen he said, "it's ok if you won't, if you don't like to be my baby anymore then it's ok.. I can just have Wiggles as my new baby" LOL
take note..Wiggles is a kitten we adopted 3 weeks ago :D
Uhm,,mad dad is getting possessive.. As what elders say, when parents become older- they tend to be more possessive on their children. @.@
Am just wondering if my papang would really choose Wiggles over me.. haha :))

Hi,
Getting over with a cat, your dad is. At least, he has someone he can always have for company all the time. He missed the times when you were still quite small, longing for the bittersweet days and nights he cradled you in his arms to comfort you and put you to sleep. And now, those days are gone for good.
Maybe, he wants another baby, if not from your mom, then from who else? Just kidding.

Bwahahahaha :D Well I actually have a niece already but they are living 4 hrs away from us :)) Well..Indeed I guess my dad just missed the way it was before. When my time was theirs. Unlike now, I am able to decide and ask them if I could be out, be there, be here and everywhere. But because of what had happened I realized I need not to forget our fatherly endearments ;) thanks for sharing :D

haha true =] my mom is more on the disciplinary issue and my dad on the charming side. But I never complained, now am grown up- I could never express how thankful I am the way they brought us up. They were not strict, they were just loving & concerned and protective ;) proud daughter here..hihi

My dad is acting that way towards me too. He would always ask that I visit him every week (I am working and am living far from home). For me, i like that because growing up, me and my dad were really not that close. You should be happy because not all dads are that sweet :).

Yes i know =] My dad was always like this since I was young. And surely he'd be sad if things changes. I can feel he wanted to keep me by his hide. Well even if I can't piggy back on him anymore, or he can't carry me from sofa to bed anymore..LOL there will always be other things for us to cherish our bonding.. =) Thanks for reminding & yes he is sweet :)

Hi friend, good to hear about your father, i think he is having a lot of care and affection with you, so only he is doing such kind of things. AS you mentioned, parents always care about their kids a lot

i think he just missed you. because for what i understand you always kiss your dad before sleep. so for him to go to sleep without seeing you was sad for him. i guess he just wants you around for as long as possible. for sure he wouldnt substitute you for wiggles keep taking good care of your dad. he deserves it for sure^^
