What makes me post this question is my friend's reaction when his discussion are not answered. In fact I dont feel much bad. I believe in contributing others discussions rather than putting up some silly topics. How do you react when people dont respond to your discussions.

I have not started many discussions here and the ones I started were all answered. I don't know how would I feel if my discussions would remain unanswered. One thing is for sure that it would not demotivate me to be active here. May be I would choose to concentrate more on responding to other discussions.

I have started a few discussions that didn't get any responses, but I am not really sad or disappointed. When I posted those discussions I already knew that the topics were quite specific and I am not surpriced that I didn't get any responses. Maybe most members aren't interested in those topics or don't know anything about them, but that is okay, I just thought that I wanted to try anyway. Some discussions don't get responses in the beginning and a few weeks later the first responses start coming, so you never know if the discussions will remain without any responses. That is another reason why I don't get disappointed.

Most of my discussions get some responses. Although I have some that was not responded, I consider those as title not properly worded or for some reason. But I don't feel sad about it. We cannot expect that all our articles will get the attention for some reason or another.
