I just can't go a day without coffee! I just feel so bored and inactive without a mug of coffee. What dangers Am I exposing myself to? Or I'm my just fine and not alone in this? Please Share..Good Morning!

Everything in moderation is fine for us, but getting our body in a routine or addicted for us to need it isnt good. I use to work at a coffee shop, and was to the point of always having a cup in my hand. I had to go about 2 weeks of feeling sick, to get back into a routine of not need that coffee. Try other things, I usually have a hot shower to wake up, or relax a few hours before exerting myself.

You are very correct: moderation, not "routine" and don't depend on it to wake you up or keep you awake. Great post. :)

I can go without coffee but I don't like to. Unlike some I could do without. I don't become agitated if I don't have a cup of joe. Coffee is not bad for you compared to some things. Caffiene is probably the worst of the "exposure". It has some benefits too. I don't think a mug a day is going to hurt any thing.

I think your dose of coffee a day is okay. Once cup of coffee in a day is okay. It's just that you miss the good taste that's why you're craving for it. One cup of coffee a day cannot be considered as addiction. It's okay and there's no danger with that dose. Mine? 3 to 5 cups a day of this coffee I'm drinking right now. ;)

Consuming too much could ready lead to danger. If you just consume 2 - 3 cups a day, I think it is just okay. I like drinking coffee too,it starts my day.I used to consume 2 - 3cups of coffee a day. But just remember that too much of anything is bad and harm.

Lol, you are definitely not alone in this. Caffeine, found in coffee, is a stimulant, and like all stimulants your body gets used to having it and demands more. If you try to go a week (depending on how much/often you drink it) you may have headaches or more lethargy (groggy/tired/low energy) because you are not giving yourself the stimulant that you have made your body used to expecting. Coffee isn't really "bad" for you, but it's not really good for you, especially when you drink multiple cups a day. (btw, I drink anywhere from 2-6 espresso shots a day, and espresso is stronger than a cup of coffee. It's like super concentrated coffee, lol.) In order to avoid the "side effects" try to slowly lessen how much coffee you drink, and when you feel sluggish even with coffee, try running or another physical activity to retrain your brain. Coffee is much more effective if you drink it spuratically so that your body doesn't become dependent on it to stay awake.

I think I am also addicted to coffee. I always have 2 cups of coffee, once in the morning and another mid-afternoon. I know that to some 2 cups are just minimal, but the thing is I really cannot perk up without my coffee. So far, 2 cups is okay according to my doctor but I just have to avoid it 4 hours before bedtime. Once I didn't heed his advise and it took me until 4am to finally go to sleep. How many cups do you usually have everyday? Remember that anything in extreme is always dangerous.

They say it's okay to drink a cup of coffee each day(: But once you start feeling withdrawls and an itching kind of sense you need it then maybe you should cool it down a bit. You could develop a heart murmur from all the caffeine or just cause some kind of heart problem in the long run. Good luck(:
