Van any one suggest me to develop traffic to my blog?

I am having a blog and approved adsense account. But due to less traffic I am not earning much amount from my blog, while searching on Google how to increase traffic to my blog I found a lot many sites with so many articles but did not use those properly. So can any one suggest me good and easy methods to use for getting traffic. I used backlink method but that did not work for me.
