Organizing Mylot Profile

All mylotters have their own profile and have the ability to design their profile as per their wish, we can add banners, photos, videos, back grounds, themes and other things in our profile and make it in a good manner. What do you think about organizing your profile? Are you interested in presenting your profile in an unique way? Do you think your profile is different from others profile?

Well, I have done few changes in my profile and yes I can say that it is looking different from many.. I have changed the whole background with my blog theme, and also put my blog name with logos and all that. So I guess it is looking good now.

Yours i definately different from many becaus eon yours there are comments fromother users. Odd that is

It is all out if order now though. After the glitch I just plonked things back again and I have added a new here and there since then but it is not looking 'interesting' now, like as though it has gone stale 
I wonder who can explain how to embed a song into it so than when someone opens it the song plays

i don't know what happened to my profile page. all banners are gone and even the one and only video i placed on it. :(

There was a serious glitch here in myLot last July and all profiles became empty
To get it back to how it was you must first delete all of the old sorties that are there, even though they are empty, and start again.
It is best to keep a back-up of your sorties just in case this ever happens again.

yes, i too know about that glitch and deleted all the old items and pasted the codes again. This glitch was due to the maintenance at that time. I remember mylot provide 3x earnings at that time and lot of users benefited with it

I think the default profile layout is just fine.
I don't deal with the design. Do you know why ?
Take for example a website called Gaiaonline.com. It has many users that design their profile and avatars, they add videos, nice pictures in the background and etc...
In the end, what matters is how the user uses the website, how he interact with the other users, what he did in that website. The profile design is only the outside. I look on the inside.
Do you know many people that try to look good and even have plastic surgeries ?
Some people are even addicted to that and that all of what they are...
A user in mylot is a lot more than the profile look.

Hi friend, i agree, here our activities and posting is important compare to the profile design, however other persons will get an idea about us while seeing our profile, so we must give importance to it and manage it in a good way.

Fanta is not interested to organize the profile no banner, no theme, no color because not know how can organize hehe...I can upload only photo and no other thing in mylot.

I didn't know how to do anything except type when I joined myLot. I have learnt HTML and other stuff since then.
There are lot of discussions in this interest which explain things easily. You might like to take a look

Fanta, i know you are a busy home maker, so you don't have time for organizing your profile, but you can try whenever find some free time, as msd mentoned, we can learn a lot from this site through various topics

I use to post photos in my profile, but when I deleted those photos, I never got the time to customized my profile page anymore.
I have seen nice profile page here like LetranKnight and CaptainAlbert.

My brother I like to change only on my profile photo. Some time with hubby and some time single. But not waste the time for organizing the profile like choose the theme, backgrounds, banners etc.
