Hotmail Security Issues..

I tried to open up my Hotmail account yesterday, but i was unable to do that because when i tried to log in it it read "it looks like someone else might be using your account"...I was terrified so i called microsoft support and told me that my computer is high risk and that my computer could crash any time.He wanted me to add warranty on it in order for them to add anti-virus and malware software... My husband and I took it in last November to a tech squad in our area..But apparently it didn't do our computer much help.. Have you had any problems with your hotmail account..or security issues on your computer?
