I don't know why they are making Jack so stupid! He is supposed to be this high finance kind of guy...so he stocked up on Newman Stock.. and when it was revealed that Victor was dead..it all tanked and he owes a ton of money (don't know what "leverage" and all the means" but he has to come up with ton of money ...so he sells BofN to Tucker..why didn't he offer it to Victoria? She could have bought it..or to Nicki or to ANYONE but Tucker????!!! Granted..storyline, but still..they could have done something better. Tucker taking over Newman...talk about ho-hum! Then there isn't anything to fight over! Tucker has it all! So if they had had BofN to someone else, Jack still has Jabot and Tucker has Newman and Sharon...at least there'd be some diversity in the fighting!

Jack is the worst business man one T.V. He is never satisfied with what he has. He always has to have one up on Victor and once he gets it, he can't hold on to it. He should have had the decency to offer Victoria (his Sister-in-law) the first right of refusal to BON.

Funny, homebase.. I just mentioned that above. We never see Jack at work! He never says "got get to the office" never seen at his desk, but Victor always is! Geneieve will tell what she knows and that will help alot for Jack to get it back. Rumor is that Genie Francis contract expired and they aren't renewing it...so this is prob her final farewell.. make things right and send her back down under..that way they can at least bring the character back later if they want to.

I think the problem with Jack is that he'll make business deals that are excellent, and then follow them with major goof-ups. He should stop comparing himself with Victor and focus on his own triumphs. Notice he loses everytime he tries to get a loan. Remember he lost Jabot because of the balloon payment that he owed the bank. Victor bought it out.

Yeah, they probably do and that is what makes them so constantly at each others business. NO matter what one has, the other wants it. I think it is just really "one upping" each other..makes them feel big and powerful and all. To use viewers.. it is getting not only old, but redundant and in this case...stupid.
Jack has so much, yet he never seems to bother to make it better or bigger.. just find something else to buy. He had it all...Jabot and BOFN.. but did he sit back and bask in his glory? no, he had to g o and get stock in NE.
He will get it back tho.. he has the info over TUcker of knowingly hiding Victor to keep the price of stock down and buying it up. So I think Jack will get BOFN back..with Geneive's help.. but still.. it won't be enough.. and we never see Jack "at the office" or even saying "I have to get to the office..." But we see Victor at his desk often!

I have no idea what is going on with Jack and all the Newman stock that he bought. Hopefully stealthy will chime in on this discussion soon and shed some light on the questions that you asked above.
