After giving birth, I have tried eating less most of the time, tried walking because that is the only thing that I can do while I am working, sometimes do try to use the stairs even if elevators in the office is working but I am still not getting the target weight that I want, I will try to join kick boxing-somebody told me that it really would help in reducing my weight hopefully when I work harder I will get some result because it is already frustrating.

Well depending on your metabolism loosing weight can be very easy actually unless you are mesomorph(type of body with slow metabolic rate). The first thing you should do is calculating your dially caloric intake, write down every single food you take over the day include absolutely everithing-juices,small snacks even the tsp of sugar you put in your coffee everysinlge thing.Since i dont know what type of body do you have and cant tell you cant give you any particular advices of how much calories do you need per day or what kind of activity do you need but you can calculate it for your self just multiply your weight in pounds by 11(1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds)+ your active calories which is about 400-500(still not accurate since there some other factor to be considered here but that for an avg person),so lets say your 150 pounds which is 1650 calories per day + 500 your active calories thats 2150 calories per day for you to exist. After each day of writing down each food calculate how much calories did you consume use this site: http://nutritiondata.self.com .As i said to loose weight is very simple the only thing you should do is take less calorie that your body needs which is with the above example 2150 and reduce this with about 500 which is 1650,this way whitout any hard physical activity your body will use the energy stores(fats) for fuell. Now pay attention here loosing weight is not a joke and can be harfull the idea is to loose weight but not to feel weak and depressed all the time,so here are my advices try to change your eating habbits a bit(not anything special just reduce fried foods, foods rich on saturated fats and sugar) add some vegetables to your meals like broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes.Since for each begginer reducing and calculating calories can be quite frustrating and mental exhaustion dont get to much in to it try step by step, calculate your dially calorie intake(without changing anything at the begining) add some physical activity such as jogg(i recomend in the morning on an empty stomach about 15-20 minutes for start and then increase, this way you will burn more fat and also give you a real brust for the day) if you feel energetic at night try jogging again same duration an hour before you go to bed for energy depleting(this way you will make sure it wont be store as fat),drink a lot of water about 4-5 litres a day. After you get used to idea and start feeling diffrently you can make some changes in your eating habbits,as i said reduce junk food add some healthy one and consider calculating carbohydrates intake also( which is in short sugars, and starches) and you reduce them also a bit add some excersises. As i mention loosing wegith can be quite unheathy so be carufull dont go for too much too fast and dont expect overnight results the healthy way is loosng about 1-2 pounds per week depending on your body type.Hope this can help most of my references come from:http://www.livestrong.com and http://www.bodybuilding.com/ Take care!:)

Try eating 1 or 2 grapefruits every day. They are very good for weight loss. Also drink lots of water. 2qts a day is very good for you. And it's true, kick-boxing will sweat the weight off in no time! Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Good luck.

It is always hard to lose weight when you've had a baby, because the baby becomes the most important thing in your life but yet you have to also take some time to stop and think about what is good for you. Counting calories is something that works, and the trick is to make sure that you're burning more than you're eating. You'll burn at least 1,200 calories each day just from living and breathing, so if you eat that amount and then do some exercise on top of that then this is a sure way to make sure that you manage to lose the weight that you're aiming to.
