too much of cricket nowadays

The game cricket became profession to players. So, to pay money to these players boards have to conduct different tournaments. Now a days Tennis, football, golf,etc are played all through the year. So, sport is becoming bored if we watch a lot. All we have to do is watch only the major tournaments and ignore the other small tournaments. ICC is able to restrict the T20 format to some extent but popularity of this game is growing up with lot of women and kids are too watching this format. So, it is hard to reduce the games for ICC. It is we who have to watch with limits or else we will surely be getting bored. When IPL was first introduced, I watched each and every match but the following year I watched only the matches where my favorite player or team is playing. Next year, I stopped watching all the games because it became a boring tournament. Finally all I can say that is there is no solution or remedy for too many games played in a year.

Nowadays the private franchises are very much involved in so much cricket.i think different leagues all around the world is responsible.

I also think now a days lots of matches are played and sometimes I also get bored watching the same matches again and again. I hope in the future there would be less matches and good competitive matches or different set of players in the team with large pool of players.

I don't believe there's too much Cricket, I just think that it isn't scheduled the best way. The different forms of the Sport should be played one after the other which doesn't happen at the moment so players go back and forth between the different forms.

I think I really enjoy these crickets. Even though there are a lot of matches in this sort periods I really like to watch them on the TV especially India's matches .

hi natligleb! i am 50 % n favour with you. yes its too much leagues now as IPL BPL and many more they should be closed and only few should remain and must come some gap b\w every series to give rest to players as well as to audions.

hey thanks for putting up this discussion. i think it is pretty obvious to see too much of cricket these days as the craze for cricket is increasing day by day. Just as u can see the football matches and tournaments being played every now and then, cricket too has its right to be played throughout a calender year. yes of course, it is up to a person to choose wisely which sport to watch and which one to skip. What say?
