Lakers are not at their best

I think HEAT is better!

I think the Lakers are championship-bound this year as long as they stay healthy. Nash and Howard are great additions to the team and exactly what they've been lacking over the last few years. Kobe can't do it all himself as we've seen before. Nash will get him the ball and the presence of Howard (finally a real center) will open things up for Kobe as well as provide more options for the team to score. It's going to be an interesting season and I can't wait to watch the Lakers hoist the championship trophy when it's all said and done!

I think they're a championship caliber team. Nash is an intelligent player and is very good in pick and roll. This type of play is well suited to Howard and Gasol. With the ability of those 2 big men, they can be unstoppable. On the defensive end, Howard is big threat inside plus a tall PF, Gasol, the midrange and inside area will be hard to break. By the way, Nash is a good shooter (which Sessions don't have), and this will extend the enemies defense and they can now play both outside or inside.

I think Lakers still haves it in them to win a championship. Yeah they are old, but they do have great experience players like Kobe and now Nash to help the team. Howard is a great center, but we will see if he will even play after the back surgery he has done and see if still plays like he did when he was with Orlando. The only thing that Lakers need to change I say is the head coach since I think he doesn't know how to coach a great team and we need a better bench.

there are a lot of super stars in LA. but we can't say they are the best. yeap, it is right that they have a lot of great players, but they need to suit others. they must find the best way to help team if they want to get champion. you know, heat is so strong but they didn't get champion in their first season. so i think it should be patient. but if they can solve these peoblems, they have great possiblity to get world champion.

we could not say that until it was proven by their games in this seasons. we could not tell which is which is better but nowadays many good players in the NBA are arising up that might be a reason for this team not to beat those other team.

Maybe you're thinking of their age. That's why you've said that they are not at their best any more. But still I believe that the ball is round and keeps on bouncing. It's basketball my friend. Anything can happen. We still haven't seen them play. Maybe I'll change my opinion later after I've seen them played together. But for the meantime I'll still believe that they can do great as a team.
