Simple Photographic Techniques

Love photography and am an amature but have taken a photography class. One main technique is to off center the central focus of the shot. Of course if you are taking a photo of a group of people you might not want to do that. Also photoshop is a photographers best friend (or another photo/image editor). There is a lot of tweaking you can do to an image in that program.

Well great to hear that u are interested for professional photography. Although i am not a professional photographer but i have taken certain tips from my friends who are very much in this profession while taking the snaps. They had advised me always go for natural pics which are having different attributes than the other pics. What say?

A simple trick on photography is to know your camera... You need to explore your gear before heading up to take some decent shots. don't be afraid to hit the manual mode and play with it to get you familiar with the camera you are using. Second, You also need to know what you gear are you capable of using. It could be a Film Camera,DSLR Camera, Point and Shoot Camera, or a Bridge Camera and know how this type of camera would help you in your range of photographic genres (landscape,portrait,conceptual etc.) You may want to watch some educational video tutorials over youtube. They have tons of photography tutorial that can help you in your quest of learning basic photography. In addition, you might want to buy also photography extensions such as a tripod,external flashes, etc. to help you achieve good shots without making them blurry or dimmed. Have fun! ;)
