Paid to advertise?

Has anyone heard of any sites that will pay you to advertise for them?

Theirs many sites that do this but the rate of pay is very low. theirs some good url sshortner services that pay you to shorten urls and post to websites and friends etc. But you need a lot of traffic and people in order to get good returns from them
